JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


May be required to integrate and document first article & prototype orders.

Responsible for resolution of all technical and process related issues.

Responsible for documentation of build process and training of production staff on customer requirements as well as industry best practices.

Consults with other technology staff to evaluate operational and performance requirements of overall design/prototype.

May be required to assist in performing a variety of product, technical support functions inclusive of research, design and development of computer software systems, in conjunction with hardware product development.

May be required to consult with customers regarding design, development and maintenance of products. Coordinates installation procedures. Assists sales channel, field teams and customers with technical solutions.

Assists in analyzing data to determine feasibility of product proposal. May confer with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problems. Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout. Directs and coordinates building/manufacturing of prototype product or system.

Assists in developing test programs. Analyzes test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.

Provides management with ideas for process improvements.

May be required to review engineering change requests, evaluate impact of change, and provide implementation timelines.

May be required to implement engineering change orders (ECO) to documentation and build process. Communicates engineering change notifications (ECN) to production, sales, and customer engineering team.

Communicates complex information and ideas clearly, concisely to target audiences.

May be required to travel 5% of the time.

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:

In-depth working knowledge across a variety of technical products and services, practices, procedures, and methods including product migration.

Demonstrated ability to effectively identify, analyze and incorporate situational information into assigned tasks and projects.

Expanded knowledge of the concepts and application of business and process improvements.

Effective oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Demonstrated excellence in customer service, analysis and process evaluation skills.

Demonstrated ability to interpret & manipulate data elements.

Demonstrated ability to create, present and execute strategies.


WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Two or more years of successful progressive experience in the area of complex technical assignments related to the area of job focus.

Associate degree or preferred a Bachelors degree in IT or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of formal education, training and directly related job experience.
