Position Highlights | The Arizona Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (AzVDL) at the University of Arizona invites applications for on-call histotechologist III position(s). This position is responsible for performing traditional and routine histology techniques. The section sees a diverse workload. The position brings the opportunity to work with our welcoming and inclusive faculty and staff as well as being a part of Research, Innovation & Impact (RII)'s community. The technician would be responsible for performing histology procedures and tasks, participating in the quality management process and performing a variety of special stains. The laboratory is one of the original twelve laboratories partnered in the National Animal Health Laboratory Network (NAHLN) and participates in supporting the Cooperative Extension's Arizona Livestock Incident Response Team (ALIRT). ALIRT was designed to enhance the diagnosis of unexplained mortality events in livestock. The University of Arizona has been recognized for our innovative work-life programs.
