As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to join our team and drive the evolution of our benefits and wellbeing initiatives.

Your Role: This Hybrid role you will be at the forefront of shaping our comprehensive benefits and wellbeing offerings. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and participating in projects aimed at enhancing our benefits programs.
  • Using your analytical skills to gather insights and engage with stakeholders, ensuring our programs meet the diverse needs of our employees.
  • Managing benefits plan compliance with regulatory filings, plan audits, and testing
  • Managing open enrollment other key project plans to support annual processes
  • Proposing innovative solutions and process improvements to elevate our benefits and wellbeing programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, or related degree.
  • Seven plus years' experience in a human resources, business, or finance/accounting capacity.
  • Familiarity with all benefit (Retirement and Health & Welfare Plans) related legal requirements including, but not limited to ACA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret data from multiple sources and report findings as well as utilizing the data to make and implement recommendations.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, including a strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of key concepts and cost drivers related to benefits and well-being.
  • Familiarity with HCM systems including capability to run and analyze standard reports and partner with HCM on complex reporting and analytical needs.
  • Ability to partner with HR and business to develop/assist with benefit programs, policies, practices, and processes to support Charter's business objectives.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience supporting, leading, and implementing process improvements.
  • Proficiency with advanced features of Microsoft Products; Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Highest level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Willingness to travel (10%).


Accountabilities:

  • Research and analyze market and industry trends. Recommend benefits & well-being program enhancements to support business strategy.
  • Keep current on regulations and new legislation and ensure Charter's benefit and well-being plans remain compliant.
  • Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and address needed corrections.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices related to benefits.
  • Research complex problems, analyze options, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Develop, track, and report on metrics around health and well-being that measure over program performance
  • Manage relationships with vendors, brokers, consultants, and attorneys.
  • Lead complex projects and implementations of new benefits and well-being vendors and programs
  • Maximize Workday (HCM) and other digital technology functionality to analyze data to research, recommend, and implement system and process improvements.
  • Build collaborative relationships across the business to support the team in optimizing processes, system efficiencies, maintenance, data integrity, and reporting.
  • Assist in development and delivery of benefits education for HR, business partners, and employees.
  • Ensure benefits and well-being processes are efficient, effective, repeatable, and well-documented.
  • Provide exceptional service to all customers while ensuring proper administration of the benefit/well-being plans.
  • Lead Total Rewards project work as assigned.
  • Follow Environmental, Quality and Safety Management System procedures and requirements.
