We are seeking a talented, energetic individual to support Learning and Development (L&D) programs and initiatives. This full-time role reports into the Global DEI & Talent Management COE and will be expected to carry out a wide range of duties to include administering existing programs, researching potential training opportunities, organizing L&D events, and maintaining reports/data. It is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to many areas within talent management and build a career in learning/leadership development. The position will work with many talented professionals in HR and the business broadly.

Initiative, accountability, strong organization skills and a stellar work ethic are key to success in this role. Ideal candidate is organized, collaborative and passionate about learning. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple items simultaneously are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Supports L&D programs and initiatives in the Americas and for global COE programs.

  • Develops and manages an Americas L&D calendar of events.

  • Administers existing programs and curriculum, stay on top of compliance requirements, and works with AMER lead to update/refresh programs as needed.

  • Operates within Workday Learning Management System (LMS) to create classes, register participants, capture training hours and handle after class management. Also responsible for feedback reporting/course and program evaluations for the Americas.

  • Owns the administrative aspects of L&D such as vendor contracts and correspondence, emails to/from participants, event scheduling and invitations, reserving conference rooms, finding offsite venues and supporting trainers, travel, accommodation, facilities, and other arrangements.

  • Communicates program offerings and course requirements to trainers, facilities, learners, and external suppliers and help ensure employees attend internal and external learning events to support broader talent strategy.

  • Partners with others to prepare or select learning and development materials or programs required by the learner/trainer and research L&D practices to meet organizational and individual needs.

  • May occasionally lead training sessions and help prepare trainers.

Desired Skills

  • Subject matter expertise - At least 3 years in Human Resources/Training, with interest in and aptitude for leading learning and development strategies. Exposure to/knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation a plus

  • Course delivery skills - Familiar with various learning formats, including e-learning and virtual training.

  • Communication - Strong verbal and written skills, comfortable presenting both virtual and live environments (one on one, small groups and large audiences)

  • Technical - Systems (Workday LMS), MS Teams/Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Education

  • Bachelor's (University) degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
