Responsibilities

The Analytics Engineer will ensure data is ingested, transformed, scheduled, and enabled to meet the analytics needs of the organization. They are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines, data models, analytics solutions, and reporting solutions. The analytics engineer models raw data into clean, tested, and reusable datasets to enable data analytics and data-driven decision making across the organization.

    Analytics Engineering
    • Develop data management solutions enabling access to data to meet the analytics requirements of the organization.

    • Engineer, assemble and develop robust data models and architectures to enable data-driven insights and meet the needs of the organization and business stakeholders.

    • Deliver well defined, transformed, tested, documented and code-reviewed data models for data consumers to enable data-driven insights.

      Build required data infrastructure for extraction, ingestion, and transformation of data from multiple sources.

    • Close collaboration with Enterprise, Cloud, Data and Integration Architects to align data strategy with technology strategy.

    • Design and build data pipelines transforming raw data into prepared data for data consumers.

    • Design and build the semantic layer and data models to support the Organization's analytics strategy and business requirements.

    • Manage and maintain data pipelines for optimal performance.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to assist with technical data-related issues.

    • Collaboration with BI developers, report and dashboard developers, and data consumers to ensure access to data models.

    • Manage data as an asset, ensuring secure storage, handling, and access to the data.

  • Data Analytics Visualization
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and technical experts to build visualizations and solutions that provide insights and data-driven decision making.

    • Design and implement solutions that meet the reporting and analytics needs of the organization.

    • Develop visualizations and dashboards to support the strategic analytics needs of the organization.

    • Develop visualizations the enable data-driven decisions.

    • Creates and maintains dashboards, visualizations, and reports using visualization tools to enable data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, informatics, statistics or related field or 6 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with software engineering tools like SQL,R, Python, Databricks, Azure Data Factory
  • Minimum 2 years of experience data engineering, data modeling, data management
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with data: Data modeling, design, pipelines, and ETL
  • Minimum 2 years related experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics, visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent analytics skills working with structured and unstructured data
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data architecture, Azure Databricks
  • Minimum four years of in-depth understanding of relational databases, unstructured data and integrations.
  • Experience with large scale enterprise integrated solutions.
  • Experience with Cerner, Salesforce, Oracle EBS enterprise applications.
  • Experience in PowerBI and dashboard creation.
