What you'll do:

The position of Senior Loan Documentation Administrator is responsible for performing quality control review of all loan documents prepared by the Bank's outside counsel, internal Bank personnel, borrower's attorney prepared documentation, and other externally prepared loan documentation. The Senior Loan Documentation Administrator will work closely with all areas in the Loan Operations Department and with other Bank personnel to ensure loans comply with Bank's approved terms, state and federal laws, regulations, Bank lending policies and procedures. This position is also expected to promote business growth by delivering excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

What we are looking for:

  • Responsible for performing quality control review of all legally prepared documentation for new loans, loan renewals, and loan modifications with a variety of structures, collateral, rates and terms prepared by Bank's outside counsel, internal Bank personnel, borrower's attorney, and other externally prepared loan documentation, ensuring quality, completeness and accuracy.
  • Following quality control review, return the quality control findings to Loan Administrators and Loan Officers, as applicable, within department Service Level Standards.
  • Develop an in-depth working knowledge of legal documentation language in order to identify enforceability issues and ably discuss with, and make necessary recommendations, to Loan Administrators, Loan Officers, the Loan Operations Associate Director and internal legal counsel, as applicable.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the Bank's legal documentation quality control review process as directed by Bank's in-house legal counsel, the Loan Operations Associate Director, the Loan Operations Director and the Head of Loan Operations.
  • Performs other duties, and participates in special projects, as assigned by management.

What you will need:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent from a college or university and 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Previous experience in banking & financial services.
  • Experience with legally prepared documentation, either through prior work experience in the legal field or the banking field
