Description

The Credit Card Servicing Associate is part of the Credit Card Operations team. This team is responsible for account maintenance, report monitoring, and internal support related to credit card accounts. The Servicing Associate will address internal inquiries related to credit card transactions, payments, and issues in addition to processing standard requests such as Name Changes, Automatic Payments, etc. Successful candidates will have the ability to problem solve and identify root causes, work in multiple systems simultaneously, and will have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Assist with operational tasks necessary to support the Credit Card program, particularly with consumer customers, including but not limited to:

  • Handling account maintenance
  • Researching payment, authorization or transaction activity
  • Monitoring various work queues/escalation requests from Customer Service and other departments
  • Handling Credit Bureau Disputes/Questions
  • Processing Bankruptcy Notifications/Coding
  • Processing Settlement and/or Workout Plans from Collections
  • Answering internal support hotline and departmental mailbox
  • Assist credit card customers directly, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Previous operational experience preferred, especially in banking or credit cards:

  • Experience in a Customer Service setting
  • Professional demeanor
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word required
  • Ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to problem solve and identify root causes
