Overview

SSOE is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Computer Technician 2 to support our clients in the Chandler, AZ area. This will be an onsite position and will require daily commuting to our Chandler, Arizona location. Local applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

A Typical Day Might Include:

The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.

    Under general supervision, performs tier-one (as needed) and tier-two Helpdesk computer support and responds to user requests. Responsible for supporting the timely process through which system problems are controlled. Will isolate, resolve and follow-up with end-users to resolve IT problems of a high level of complexity. Escalates problems of unusual complexity to senior level personnel for assistance.
  • May provide guidance and training to less experienced personnel.
  • Performs moderate to high workstation and network troubleshooting analysis and problem resolution.
  • Performs moderate to high hardware and software installation.
  • Assists Infrastructure and Application Technology staff with analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of issues as requested.
  • May assist Infrastructure and Application Technology staff on particular projects.
  • Assists with SSOE Client asset builds, tracking and returns.
  • Interfaces between SSOE staff and SSOE Client IT support staff.
  • Performs network virus scanning as directed.
  • May provide training for new employees in corporate computer systems procedures, standards, and methods.
  • Communicates system/technical concerns to ServiceDesk Manager.
  • May be required to transport equipment between various locations.
  • Routine travel to local SSOE Client sites will be required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Qualifications

Qualifications You'll Need on Day One:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or IT- related field, plus two (2) years related experience
    • or Associates degree in Computer Science or IT- related field with five (5) years of related experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of computer systems and prevailing office software required.
  • Experience in computer support or customer service required.
  • Proven experience in managing highly confidential client information, operating within a highly detail-oriented and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in the semi-conductor industry in an IT support Role strongly preferred.
  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000/year depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
