SUMMARY: The Customer Network Leader for Engine Accessories is in charge of all aspects of managing the VSE network of approved MROs, internal and external. This individual will have a complete market understanding along with mid-level technical product expertise to produce deliverables to all internal and external stakeholders. This will require cross-functional work with the following contributing groups: Supplier Management, Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality, Operations, Customer Network Management, Legal, Finance, and others. This individual will help develop and contribute toward the execution of financial targets in line with the long-term strategic vision for this high-profile program, as well as managing all contractual requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Single point of contact, face of VSE to Customer Network of Approved MRO facilities.
  • Work closely with OEM Account Leader and other team members to understand OEM technical and performance requirements and be able to communicate as necessary to Network.
  • Develop a complete understanding of market dynamics, to include product lifecycle, product competition, needed capabilities, etc in order to maintain an optimal internal/external network and network policies that will provide the most benefit to the program long-term.
  • Key aspects include strategic network planning, contract development & negotiations, contract administration, network partner site audits of systems and processes, mid-level technical product expertise, internal financial tracking and reporting.
  • Work with network, OEM team, and internally in VSE cross functionally to develop and communicate product improvements.
  • World-wide travel to MRO, OEM, supplier facilities, tradeshows, etc. Collaborate internally / externally as needed on issues (technical, contract, other).
  • Monitor key performance indicators, analyze, and take strategic actions in line with company direction
  • Identify, assess, and develop growth opportunities directly/indirectly associated with assigned scope
  • Review, understand, and comply with contractual obligations and reporting for assigned scope
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree
    • 6-7 years of relevant/technical work experience OR
    • An additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with managing multiple priorities
    • Remain calm and productive under pressure, customer-focused and able to foster productive relationships.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
    • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Effective time management, able to identify and prioritize tasks necessary to meet long and short-term objectives
    • Experience in aerospace related products
    • Fluent in English

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

    • Master's degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent experience
    • 10+ years of product management work experience
    • 7+ years of large-scale program management experience
    • 7+ years in the aviation industry
