* Provides ongoing network support, addresses availability issues, overcomes performance problems, and provides overall level two support
* Designs, installs, maintains, and coordinates the use of network systems
* Evaluates hardware and software and peripheral equipment for large, complex networks
* Manages network performance, diagnoses performance problems, and undertakes tuning activities to ensure network performance meets SLR requirements
* Support thetechnicallead andbe the authorized interface with Government technical leaders and government technical and operational management personnel
* Troubleshoots and resolves problems to ensure quality transmission service on the network.
* Balance use of cutting-edge innovative technologies with the resiliency and reliability required of mission-critical applications
* Develop schedules and technology project plans,evaluate,and improvework quality and system performance
* Reports on overall network performance including frequent problems, underlying issues and plans to improve network availability, performance, and problem resolution
* Trains users, maintains, creates, and deletes user accounts
* Assists in identifying and monitoring technical risks and assuring plans are in place to mitigate risks before they become issues
* Maintains and updates system security plans on all platforms
* Providegovernment personnelsolution progress, project updates and other technical contract-related concerns
* Implements and coordinates network policies, procedures, and standards. Enforces network security procedures

BasicQualifications:

* Active Top-Secret/SCI
* Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
* Possess DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II Baseline Certification
* Juniper Networks Certified Internet Specialist or Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate
* Must posses an active, OR have the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire date, an ITIL Foundations Certification
