Position Highlights | The Wertheim lab in the Department of Surgery is recruiting for an Assistant Research Professor, Non-Tenure Eligible. This position will work under the direction of Dr. Jason Wertheim.

Minimum Qualifications |
|
Preferred Qualifications | *PhD or foreign equivalent, in Biotechnology or Biochemistry. *Knowledge of kidney tissue engineering and human stem cell culture. *Research experience in kidney biology and kidney regeneration. *Scientific understanding, skills of novel research through publications. *Experience in the field of organoid technology and implantation of novel tissues in animal models. *Experience in the generation of organoids, performing animal survival surgeries and implanting organoids under the kidney capsule of rodents. *Expertise in the field of organoid technology, animal surgeries, rat organ cannulation and decellularization. |
