Temporary contract opportunity to cover for employee on leave of absence (approximately 7 - 10 weeks)Job Objective: Welcomes and greets all visitors, in person and via company telephone line. Screens and directs visitors and assures all visitors are escorted by appropriate personal. Provides general administrative support to Customer Service and Office Staff. Essential Job Functions:
  • Manages the front entrance and receptionist area, greets visitors.
  • Assists in ensuring building safety and security by following visitor procedures, issuing visitor identification badges. Assures all visitors are escorted by appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly receptionist area.
  • Provide general customer service support for departmental staff; completes transactional and operational duties and responsibilities associated with general CRS activities, including Order Entry, Returns, PODs, Charge Backs and Debt Memos.
  • Assists in coordination of facility events and visitor's meetings.
  • Assist with forwarding the incoming vendor Invoices to VAP Purchasing Dept.
  • Buys department supplies as instructed.
  • Assist with scanning, photocopying, and mailing of documents.
  • Distribution of mail and other interoffice communications.
  • Other duties may be assigned or required for the performance of this position.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with office equipment; computer, copier/scanner, printers.
  • Bilingual Language skills preferred: English and Spanish.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written), and collaboration skills; professional telephone manner and skills.
  • Excellent listening and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor, must be punctual and reliable.
  • Self-motivated and strong work ethic; able to work independently to complete tasks with minimal supervision, and able to accept direction on given assignments.
  • Must be willing to maintain professional, well-groomed appearance.
  • Must have good judgement skills and high level of integrity.
  • Must be organized, accountable, and demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite applications; including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Able to work collaboratively and effectively with others; Willingness to help and provide assistance whenever possible.
