Position Summary:

The Employee Health Nurse is responsible for providing professional support of employee health programs, company loss-control programs, and in-plant medical assistance programs.

Reports to: CNO

FLSA: Exempt

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education
Associates Degree required.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum Work Experience
2 years nursing experience required.
Experience in infection control and/or employee health, preferred

Required Skills
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
Current AZ RN or Compact RN License required on hire.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Effective human relations skills are required for interfacing with physicians and other contacts. As pertinent to the position, must be able to use computer and be proficient in computer applications, spreadsheets and word processing. Requires the ability to hear and verbalize information.
