Position Summary:
This is a Department of Nursing position that provides delivery of patient care at the level of a student nurse with a goal of learning the nursing skill. Performs basic patient care activities with RN preceptor or may act as a Multi-care Tech.
Reports to: Med Surg/Tele Director
FLSA: Non-exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
X High School Diploma or equivalent
X Enrolled in Nursing Program 3rd and 4th Semester Required or Graduate of ADN Program prior to licensure exam
Certifications:
X CPR Required on hire. (If ACLS is current, CPR is not required).
Competencies: As validated by Nursing School Instructor.
