The Work:

  • Participate or lead internal and or customer consultations regarding field of expertise?
  • Identify, assess and solve complex technical problems for area of responsibility, using in-depth analysis of situations or data and incorporating innovative approaches and techniques.?
  • Develop proposals for business development opportunities?and present to senior leadership at potential clients.? Ability to turn broad program objectives into actionable design initiatives?
  • Plan and execute system specification, design, architecture, and development?
  • Develop standards, procedures, training manuals, and other documentation for projects or internal use?
  • Delivery of virtual Commissioning /Emulation, Testing and Simulation??
  • Maintain and improve client relationships with all engineering disciplines and identify and develop new business opportunities??
  • Mange the project resources and budgets when necessary?

Work Schedule is 14 (12 hour) days in North Dakota with a travel day on each side. There are two rotations, one that works the 1st to the 15th and the other the 16th through the end of the month. After your rotation you would get 2 weeks off. Furnished apartment, vehicle and equipment are provided while working on site to fulfill the tasks of the job. Since the work is 365 days a year, the team splits up holidays as best they can without major impacts to the client. Would need to commit to 24 months of rotational work to keep the continuity of the team consistent

Here's what you need:??

  • 2+ years with Allen Bradley PLCs, Rockwell software platforms, or Panelview HMI's
  • 2 + years with field automation and programming specifically in Oil and Gas Industry

Bonus points if:?

  • You have knowledge around being in the field around well pads, upstream knowledge is preferred but midstream would be acceptable
  • You have industrial programming experience
  • You have an OSHA safety certification, H2S awareness, and overall field safety awareness or ability to acquire upon hiring
  • You are familiar with the Bakken field or North Dakota Geography is a plus
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or another related discipline
