Johnson Financial Group Associates Benefits

Life Insurance
  • 2-1/2 times annual salary for full-time (32+ hours) associates
  • $5,000 benefit for part-time associates (20-31 hours) working 1,000 hours per year or more
  • Supplemental Insurance is available; $500,000 or up to five times annual salary for qualified associates
  • Spouse/dependent life insurance available
Illness and Disability
  • Personal Leave. Full-time and part-time associates earn up to six (6) paid leave days per calendar year (pro-rated the first year).
  • Short-term Disability. Full-time and part-time associates receive disability pay according to a schedule based on length of service and percent of full-time up to 180-day maximum. Full-time associates may purchase supplemental short-term disability insurance.
  • Long-term Disability. Full-time associates are eligible to receive benefits if disabled of up to 60% of pre-disability earnings after a continuous 180-day elimination period.
Health Insurance Benefits
Medical, vision and prescription drug benefits are available to full-time associates and eligible dependents on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Part-time associates are eligible following one year of employment.

Dental Insurance Benefits
Johnson Financial Group offers multiple dental plans depending on associates location. Benefits are available to full-time associates and eligible dependents on the first of the month following 30 days of employment. Part-time associates are eligible following one year of employment.

Reimbursement Accounts
Full-time and part-time associates are eligible to participate in a Dependent Care ($5,000 annual maximum) and/or Health Care ($3,120 annual maximum) Reimbursement Account; money is deducted from an associate's payroll check before taxes and set aside to pay for dependent care expenses or health expenses not covered by insurance.

Cash Profit Sharing
Cash profit sharing for full-time and part-time associates based on company achievement of revenue and net income (profit), eligible compensation and length of service.

Defined Benefit Pension Plan
  • Associates working 1,000 eligible hours or more per year earn credited service
  • Five-year vesting schedule
  • Benefit formula based on years of credited service and percentage of final average monthly pay
  • Retirement benefits begin as early as age 55
  • Surviving spouse or annuitant benefits available
Retirement and Savings Plan - 401(k)
  • Participation may begin following 30 days of employment
  • Associate may defer up to 50% of eligible compensation, subject to IRS limit
  • Company matches 50% of associate salary deferral per paycheck, up to maximum match of 3%
  • Four-year graduated vesting schedule on company matching contributions
  • Rollovers are accepted from other qualified plans at any time, subject to IRS regulations
Associate Assistance Program
No cost short-term professional counseling services provided to assist in the prevention or resolution of personal problems affecting an associate or member of their immediate family.

Vacation
  • 10 days paid vacation in first and second calendar year of service (Prorated the first partial year)
  • Additional day per year in the third year of service and beyond to a maximum of 15 days
  • Additional day per year in the 11th year of service and beyond to a maximum of 20 days
  • Additional day per year in the 21st year of service and beyond to a maximum of 25 days
  • Associates are eligible for vacation benefits based on percentage of full-time
Holidays
Ten paid holidays per year are provided.

Bank Services
  • Associate Accounts. Two personal interest-bearing checking accounts and two regular savings account are provided without charge
  • Safe Deposit Box. A small safe deposit box is provided at no charge (or credit will be applied to a larger box)
  • Associate Loans. Associates are eligible to apply for loans through Johnson Bank at associate rates.
Other Benefits
As a company owned by the Johnson Family, we are proud to participate in several benefits from the Johnson family of businesses.
  • S.C. Johnson company store. Associates have the opportunity to shop at the SC Johnson Company Store, which features many of the SC Johnson products at substantial discounts. Additionally, associates may purchase merchandise from Johnson Outdoors at a discount.
  • Membership to JMBA Center at Armstrong Park, a recreation and fitness center with a variety of indoor/outdoor facilities and activities available. Johnson Financial Group will contribute 50% of the membership fee. For associates outside Racine County, the company will pay 50% of a health club membership to a maximum determined annually.
