Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009 From 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm Hilton Phoenix Airport 2435 South 47th Street Phoenix, Arizona 85034 Diversity Leaders Forum is a non-profit corporation that advocates the value of recruiting, retaining and advancing a diverse workforce to meet the unique challenges facing American public and private employers in the 21st century. Our mission is to positively impact the professional lives and careers of historically underrepresented minority professionals while enhancing diversity outreach initiatives practiced by leading employers within the corporate and government communities; ensuring that African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, Asian Americans, Disabled Americans and women are provided equal opportunity and access to career opportunities across a broad spectrum of industries; and once hired, experience professional development, growth, mobility and leadership paths. We will achieve this mission by producing conferences within America's largest markets that focus on career enrichment and leadership and from them, originate white papers that examine diversity "best practices' involved in recruitment, retention and advancement of protected minority classes. Each Diversity Leaders Forum will include employer/candidate workshops, inspirational keynote speakers, employer hosted recruiting receptions and dinner, diversity panel discussion and various programs that include community outreach & leader recognition; with all net proceeds from each Conference going back into the community for scholarship funding & monetary awards to leading minority organizations.
