Responsibilities

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to own our consumer email marketing and automation strategies, implementation, analysis, and optimization, as well as the associated coordination of our digital advertising campaigns for our unique audience segments.

In this role, you will lead strategic digital campaigns that engage new customers, promote our services, and sustain membership retention levels. You are the central hub for campaign performance, reporting to stakeholders along the way and are able to communicate clear and concise updates and recommendations that live up to EXOS brand standards.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategize, direct, implement, and optimize the creation of email campaigns in support of company objectives and the lifetime value of D2C member services.
  • Own the setup, maintenance, and review of recurring and triggered email campaigns.
  • Lead the development & analysis of weekly/monthly/campaign reporting for senior management with actionable next steps to optimize campaigns (e.g., emails, ads, etc.).
  • Forecast email results and oversee testing matrix to assist leadership in making data-informed strategic decisions.
  • Develop and maintain email content calendar.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on email marketing including the ability to articulate and champion email best practices.
  • Strategically assess current client services (Paid Advertising and Social Media, Local Search and Review Marketing) and make suggestions to improve business and marketing performance.
  • Develop and execute brand specific strategies and campaigns for paid social and PPC clients (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Google Search and Display).
  • Align internal and client teams on cross-channel messaging.
  • Work with production team to ensure staff availability to complete approved campaign tactics.
  • Identify and escalate any roadblocks that hinder progress as they appear.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of email automation management experience with an agency, corporation, or small business
  • You graduated with a BA/BS degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field that has helped you transition into a digital marketing career.

Our Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • You understand principles of email marketing methodologies and implementation tactics.
  • You have expert-level knowledge of industry standard automation platforms and their functionality and capabilities (e.g., Frederick, Hubspot, Marketo, Emarsys, etc.).
  • You have expert-level knowledge of paid digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) that supplement email campaigns.
  • You are able to provide communications best practices and make recommendations to help guide copy, layout, and design decisions.
  • You are able to manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines, managing time effectively, and prioritizing tasks.
  • You are comfortable making decisions and working with minimal oversight.
  • You are solution focused and always trying to find a way to say yes.
  • You exude positivity and are someone who the team rallies around to get the highest quality work done.
