    Responsibilities

    EXOS is seeking a Athletic Trainer to join our team, providing services to Special Operations soldiers and support staff. This ATC position shall provide and facilitate injury prevention, basic acute care, effective rehabilitative care and performance enhancement.

    The EXOS ATC shall perform the following responsibilities:

    • Provides services for Athletes within the ATC’s scope of practice as defined by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
    • Designs and fabricates protective pads, equipment and braces to help prevent and treat injuries, including the use of taping techniques within the ATC’s scope of practice.
    • Provides instruction and guidance to help prevent injuries and maximize Athlete physical conditioning and performance.
    • Participates in periodic meetings to review the care provided to patients and identifies opportunities for improvement. Should a meeting occur outside of regular working hours, the ATC is responsible for reviewing the information disseminated in the meeting.
    • Collaborates throughout the Physical Therapy team to enhance the quality of patient care delivered.
    • Conducts equipment, product, and literature reviews to ensure the HP team stays current with the provision of care.
    • Participates in the collection and reporting of workload data as requested by the Performance and Physical Therapy teams.
    • Ensures safe and effective operation of equipment used for patient care and contributes to a safe working environment.
    • Performs clinical and administrative tasks as assigned by the Physical Therapy team managers.
    • Other tasks as assigned
    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 1 year experience with elite athletes
    • Certified by a nationally accreditied ATC provider. Preferably NATABOC
