Position Summary | University of Arizona (UA) Health Sciences seeks a motivated and ambitious professional to join the development team in support of our efforts to raise significant levels of philanthropic support for the UA College of Pharmacy. The Director of Development will report to the Sr. Vice President, Health Sciences Development and the Dean, UA College of Pharmacy. This position will be responsible for managing a donor portfolio of $1M+ and works directly with major gift prospects to secure gifts of $25,000 or more to further the goals and objectives the College of Pharmacy. This position is subject to joint management by UA Health Sciences and the University of Arizona Foundation as specified in the Development Services and Asset Management Agreement dated August 2016. Local, statewide, and out of state travel will encompass meeting with donors, attending fundraising events, and the travel associated with coordinating philanthropic support. The successful candidate will need to have access to reliable transportation, have a valid driver's license, and will also receive additional detailed information regarding training for UA vehicle operation.
