Position Summary | This position reports to the Executive Director of The A Center, a unit under Student Success & Retention Innovation. The A Center provides academic advising for undeclared, transitional, and pre-health professions and pre-law programs. Under The A Center, the Coordinator, Executive Undergraduate Program provides programming assistance, academic coaching, and academic advising in areas such as student transition, major exploration, program implementation, and student retention. As a sub-initiative of the University of Arizona's Strategic Plan, the Executive Undergraduate Program consists of a cohort of undeclared, first-year students whom commute to campus and work in addition to attending school. The Coordinator, Executive Undergraduate Program will be responsible for the implementation and day-to-day execution of initiatives designed to support the cohort of students under the Executive Undergraduate Program. This individual will be well versed in student development theory and understand the various barriers students may encounter upon matriculation into higher education. This individual may also provide instruction for success and major exploration courses. This position will require evening and weekend work.
