| Position Summary | The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine (CMM) at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson is seeking a full time Instructional Designer to contribute to the department's teaching mission by overseeing development of online course materials for our Master's programs. Successful candidates will have expertise in relevant disciplines such as genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, and/or histology. Candidates will be able to design, and assist other faculty in designing, innovative curricula incorporating emerging trends and best practices in online and 'flipped class' instruction. The incumbent will have the opportunity to engage in scholarly activities related to medical and/or graduate education. Technical expertise with development of state-of-the-art audiovisual curricular materials, and capability with online course management software systems such as Desire-2-Learn (D2L) are desired.
